I am a 40 year old, female, motorsport rookie who is equal parts “meticulous planner” and “impulsive”.

This blog is the product of my impulsive personality and, in this moment, being written as a result of a surge of gratitude in my heart!

For reasons that aren’t relevant, 2022 is the year I really started to rediscover myself. Reviving old hobbies, indulging in lost passions... 

Many of these hobbies and passions I’ve outgrown. Turns out, I’m as crazy about motorsport now as I was when I was 18. Crazier perhaps. And so I decided to start racing, even though I didn’t really know my way around the sport.

Which brings me to the part of this intro where I explain why this blog is so impulsive! I did not plan to write about my motorsport experience. But these past few months, I have received so much unexpected encouragement and support, that it has blown me away. I was wondering how to express my gratitude, when I realised this blog could be the answer!

So here I am! 

My primary intention is to give a shout-out to everyone that has given me a hand. Many of these people are small business owners, and perhaps you could give them a try! A secondary intention is to document my experience so that it might perhaps motivate and educate other newbies who, like me, don't know where to start.
